Mom got another one of her Great Ideas for the Betterment of Me and decided that computers are habit-forming. Ha! That is the same as my saying that cars are habit-forming because she uses ours any time she wishes to go somewhere. But age prevailed, and because one of us read that making or breaking a habit takes a month, I am now off the computer for a month (it is enforced by an exceptional abscence of cords and wires from the back of my computer). If I am remarkably good, and studious, and helpful, and noncomplanatory (if that is indeed a word), the amount of downtime may be lessened, but I am not counting on it. Goodbye for now... P.S. - I have just figured out that one month is not only one-twelfth of this entire year, but may be nearly half a percent of my life!!!! (very probable, as I don't think I'll last an entire month). I think I'm going to run away. IP: Logged |

Just had a thought, and figured I should tell you that this is not an April Fool's Day post. I promise - (if only it were...)IP: Logged |

Good Luck and may the force of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider guide you back. And don't try running away. It won't solve your problems. (P/s: Thank God I'm an IT student) IP: Logged |

My mom almost did the same thing to me, except i talked her out of it . I said something like that it was my future because i wanted to become a level designer . To my suprise, it worked!!!I hope you can get out of it so you don't have to stay off. If that happened i wouldn't have a (good) life. ------------------ Visit my site! Sign my guestbook! Guess what guys, it doesn't get much different once you live with a girlfriend/wife. She will still get mad over the amount of time you spend on the comp. You won't get banned from it, but they have other punishments.. LOL!!![This message has been edited by firewire (edited 04-01-2002).] IP: Logged |
