Version 2.0 of TR_Exe is now available.
With version 1.1 you could extract OCB codes and values of switches for all Special and AI objects embedded in TR4 files.
With version 2.0 you get the following improvements :

  • Static objects are listed
  • Triggers are listed, with indication of the object activated (Type of object, and in which room is the object)
  • For triggers, switches and timer values are also indicated

Download Version 2.0 http://alainlecomte.free.fr/TR_Exe.zip (259 Ko)

PS : You will not use this tool for cheating, will you ?

TRWad, Each time this member posts a thread, you appear to have something negative to say to them.
If you do not have anything constructive to say about his program, then please do not say it.

Of course there is nothing wrong with constructive critisism, so please only reply to his threads in future if it is constructive.

Thank you
Data.

Hummm....

000516.html 000575.html

Go and read. Maybe that'll refresh you're failing memory.

Anyway, Ale, I'm looking forward to using this tool (after I download it ). It sounds like it'll be very useful (to me anyway!).

I did think of it and that's why I builded flooredit.
But for special objects you need to see what direction it is pointing and you can't using this program. You also can't see where the object is. For example, what effect is in room 54 of coastal.tr4 at sector 4,5?

Well you could just play the level and use the program after. And floredit was awkward and difficult to use, and this program lets you change the ocb. What we need is a program that does everything all the programs do. Too bad that will never happen. We could call it TR Studio.

Version 2.5 of TR_Exe is now available.

With version 2.5 you will get the following improvements :

  • All triggers found in .TR4 files are listed separatly for each floor sector.
  • Geographical position of each object and each trigger is indicated (x and y coordinates, inside the room).
  • For each special object, you know in what direction it is pointing.

Many thanks to TRWad for kindly suggesting the last two improvements
