I have made this level where Lara slides down a ramp, falls in a pool and must swim to a sewer looking area. I have flame emitters on some of the walls as torches - these are activatied as she is sliding down the ramp, so they are already lit when she surfaces.
Problem - some of the flame emitters are not turned on. Is there a limit of how many triggers can be on one square? (I have not maxed out on objects or triggers for the level)
Also in one part of my level the flares do not work unless Lara throws them away. Is this a some kind of bug for the Catacombs WAD or does that happen in other WADs?
Has anyone else run into these problems?

There is a limit to the number of flames you can have in your level. The result is that some do not show up and also sometimes the flares also do not show up. I suggest taking out some of the flames that you don't need and trying aga8in. Hope this helps.

Before removing any flame emitters, try to just turn them off with antitriggers when you leave the rooms they are. You can retrigger them if you need to go back to the same rooms. The problem can be due to the amount of simultaneously lit flame emitters.
