I saw a level, The Caves, it was a remake of the TR1 first level. But if someone redid the whole TR1 game would it be a copyright violation? But Core says that TRLE levels are not supported by Core by any means, so it wouldn't be a copyright violation. Would it?

Can someone help. Note: I dont plan to do this, but im just curious.

nah, it's cool if you re-did a level from a previous game
as long as you make it for the enjoyment of others and don't make any profit from it, you'll be fine

there are a buncha House level re-makes out there, so I wouldn't worry about it

Driber's right, larzbritish, King Spyder is doing the Original Tomb Raider Conversion Project (and doing a good job too), and this is totally legal, (He's working to bring TR1 to the level editor)
