Howdy Pardners.
Some time ago I played a TRLE level were Lara picked up a piece of paper and by then going into her inventory you could read the note. Which TR game was this taken from, what level ...and.. more importantly... does anybody know HOW this is done??? Billy

Muchos Grasias Amigo!
I found the 'examine 'slot and copied it into the level I was using. I made up a simple scroll using 'Metasequioa', textured it using a texture from the 'Library' Wad and 'hey presto' Lara picked up my new scroll. BUT!!!!! when she examines it it reads.."for the Serpents to live all must first be stilled. Provoke each in turn and the circle will burn complete"... This ,I guess, is what it says in the original game. I found this sentence in the script file but when I altered it it did'nt make any difference. I would appreciate some advice here....How can I make it read different???? Billy

Also you might need to pay a visit to the english folder. Make necessary changes there, and then output the script.

Howdy..
English Folder...is this the same as the English.data????? I was altering the script file to read a new line of words then doing a 'save'. I have a feeling this is not what you had in mind. Please remind this ol' cowboy of how to 'convert' the script file.... Billy

If you use easylife, it converts both the english and script files (on my site). The english.txt and script.txt is where you'll make the changes, but the changes have to be the same. Scroll down until you read the message that was on the scroll. Now make the exact changes that you did with the script to the english.
