A question to all, who know the new WAD's which you can download at the TRLE FAQ: The description of some new WAD's says that all animations of Lara are included. Are this really ALL animations (for every object, for example: click switch, FLOOR_TRAPDOOR, LEVER_SWITCH, ROPE, KICK_DOOR, ...) or only them for climbable walls, ropes, poleropes and monkey swings?IP: Logged |

This is correct, however it is only applicable when using TR4 based wads. And some animations would require OCB setting in order for them to function correctly. ------------------ Learn to respond, not react IP: Logged |

I use mixed WAD's, two. But for example: If I add a KICK_DOOR to the TUT1 WAD Lara will open it without any animation. I think Laras animations are not updated if you add an object to a WAD!? IP: Logged |

If you use a standard wad as a base they will. By this I mean start out with a standard TR4 wad, and then add other items to it, whilst deleting items that you do not require.

I've already tried this but the program (TRWEST) crashes if I save a new WAD. I've always had to use an existing WAD as base .IP: Logged |

When you say it 'crashes', did you remember to save it with .was at the end of it? ie. customwad.was------------------ Visit my site! Sign my guestbook! IP: Logged |

Not 100% sure, but the tut1.wad was not updated ------------------ Does Lara live in our world... or do we live in hers? IP: Logged |

Yes, i forgot ".was" at the end of the name. If I understood all Lara's animations (those I need) would be included if I saved a WAD this way (I mean if I created a NEW WAD)? IP: Logged |
