You probably just don't know how to use trwest properly. I have never had any problems withit. TRwest still has the most user friendly interface.IP: Logged |

What an Insult !TrWest Is a very basic program, I tested everything with my WAD and it was perfect, TrWest wasnt copying over the original meshes with mine and screwing up the animation in the process, TrWads lastest version DOESNT ! In fact if you think I can't use TrWest you can try to import the Young lara into your Wad, but Im sure youre going to have to use the really "complicated" Wadmerger to do it, but may be you have a problem using it [This message has been edited by GokuZ (edited 04-08-2002).] IP: Logged |

First I am trying to keep this nice. I never said wadmerger was complicated, two I have imported young lara without problems, three trwest is far from basic. The only thing I ever find wadmerger good for is animation dispatch. Please don't take this the wrong way but I really don't like the idea of having install runtimes that aren't certified by windows, last time it crashed my computer. TR2wad on the other hand is a great program and that I won't deny. So before trashing someone elses work try to look at all the perspectives. IP: Logged |

Well Im not gonna argue, what I have been trying to import isnt a standard trle wad, Its an Old Lara That I Re-meshed & textured to look like Young Lara For some reason Trwest woundnt work and Wadmerger did, I dont mean to Trash Trwest but I spent hours going over everything and was very relived when Wadmerger worked, so Thanks TrWadIP: Logged |

It would appear that they both have their use, TRwest for the straight forward user friendliness and Wadmerger for its more intuitive interface.

WADMerger is a bit harder to use because it has many options. TRWest has only a few so it doesn't have much to learn.IP: Logged |

I've never been able to get my head around wadmerger, and only ever use it for animdispatches.Still, it's an indisposable program, if only for tht reason Trwest crashes less (for me, anyway) ------------------
