Im getting ready to make a website to show my level that im working on, but the clipart I want to use has a white back ground. How can I make that background transparent?

You can use the GIF89 import plugin if you have photoshop. Or if you have Paint shop pro, you could ask on the OT forum cos someone there had a similar question a couple of months ago.

Using a fill tool, make the background of the GIF the same colour as your web page background and then it will appear to be transparent.

For Paint Shop Pro 7:

Set background color to white (if the background of the image is white). Then, under Colors, select Set Transparent Color (or something similar). Check the use background color as transparent color option. Then save it.
