i downloaded recon labs 3 but the .txt file leaves you clueless on what to do. why is it like that? can anyone help me?? thanks.

The .txt file isn't the installation instructions files. Usually some level builders assume the the user is areadly accustomed to using custom levels, so there's no instructions. Just do this:
Put English.dat, Script.dat, all other dat files, and sometimes it will contain a strings.h and object.dat in the trle folder.
Put all files with .swd, .sfx, .wad, .tom, .sam, .cd, .was, .txt (the one that lists all objects) .raw and .lar in trle/graphics/wad
Open tomb2pc.exe, add the .tom in the trle/graphics/wad and click build all.

Sometimes levels contain a uklogo.pak, load.bmp, you don't need these to play, but they add to the atmosphere of the level.

thanks! well i have played many levels but i have forgotten where to put the files! its been a while. thats all. but thanks for your help..also i have another question about PAscal Dueys Levels. Do you need to play levels 1 - 7 b4 you play 8 - 10 or will the savegame13 catch me up to level 8. thanks a lot.

oh yeah..another thing about recon labs3..i ran the executable in the zip file and it says i need a password? i guess i need more help than i thoughtt,,...

That's a bonus level.
First you must install the other file. If you collect the password keys throughout the levels, you will have access to the file

ok..what other files do i install. ive never seen a *.pak file b4. I see the tomb raider installer, but it is all in greek to me, or some language i cannot understand. can anyone help me...???
