Level Two, Version 2:
"The City of Vilcabamba" Version 2 is now On-Line!
    New To This Version:
    Complete room geometry.
    All objects correctly placed.
    Almost complete object set.
    Correct Texture Placement.
    Correct triggering.
    Correct camera placement and triggering.
    The Block is now climbable!

    Comming Next Version:
    Shading and Lighting.
Any bugs reported will be fixed, if possible.

Also Note:
The WAD and Scripts files have also been updated and are REQUIRED for the level to function correctly.

Sorry, no screenshots yet. I'll do those after I do the lighting and shading.

Download At:

Other News:
I will now take time out to complete "Entrance to The Caves", "The Caves - eXtras Version" and my one original level idea.

As far as I know, "The Tomb of Qualopec" is still in progress (this one is being done by Treeble) and should be available soon.

You can now find older versions (including the three "Textured" versions of "The Caves") in the "Screenshots & History" section for each level. This was done by request from several people who wanted to see the whole progress of the levels.

Also On The Horizon:
I have paid for a domain name (registration and hosting). It should be ready in a week or so. At that time, there will be several changes made to the site which will (hopefully) make it bigger and better. I'll make an announcement when it's ready.

And, Finally...:
Treeble and myself were unable to connect to the forum over the last couple of days. Treeble would have made this announcement for me (although alot more brief ) had he been able to connect while I couldn't. I'd just like to thank him for agreeing to do so. Thanks Treeble!

I too noticed that the whole eidosgames.com site was unreachable on Thursday. I just played the version 2, great job. I wonder why the room (with the medpack in the room to the left of the water cavern) has a invisable barrier.

Not working? It is now. I wonder what the problem was... Anyway, try again and let me know if you can get it.

Lots of flip-maps. It's hard to explain exactly, but I can isolate the relevant areas and send you a prj if you'd like.

I'm a little lost as to where you mean. Is this where a trap-door opens, you climb out of the water (a secret sound plays) and you throw a switch which opens a door so you can get out? If it's not, can you point me in the right direction with more detail or maybe give me a screen shot showing where this is? Anyway, it sounds like I setup a door object incorrectly. I guess I'll be putting up version 2.1 once I find the exact location and fix it . And I so hoped there wouldn't be any bugs!

Funny thing is that I didn't find this invisible door, but I found that you forgot to add a medipack, in the area with a wolf and some plants.

Well, that room is kinda big. So, that it probally why I over-looked it in TRItem while viewing it. Or, TRItem may not have rendered it. Anyway, it'll be fixed for version 3, or earlier. It all depends on if something major shows up (like the invisable door, if there is one). I don't feel that it's important enough to make a version 2.1 for. Besides, eveyone should be able to get through it woth out it .
