Hi, I'm new and just like to say , well, hello and what a great forum this is.When I first bought TR5, I had a play with the TRLE but the lack of a decent monitor made the 1024/768 requirment hard to take. Any how I got a 17" monitor a while ago and just got a 3D card so now having great fun with TRLE. Question - I've downloaded various tools and am ok with most but get probs with Wadmerger 1.7 - it keeps crashing. It does a run time error whenever I try to save stuff and quite often just randomly dies whilst trying to merge wads, esp from CD. Anyone got a solution? My web site, levels ect not finished yet. Hello and welcome to the forum There is a known problem with some people running Wadmerger on their system....you need the updated 'runtime' files for it to work. Go here: http://trwad.tripod.com/Tools/WADMerger/Index.html Look for the runtime download....it's about 2 megs.....hope that helps...... hello both, happy to see new members no offense to TRWad, but i like trwest when I'm not editing AI and all that, its just simpler... You can reach all TR programs by clicking on the "TRLE FAQ and Community" link at the top of your page. this link basically takes you through everything and everyone to do with the le, just try it.------------------ Creator of professional levels (: jokami63@aol.com new to the level editor? want new wads, tgas, or sounds? bored with the level editor? do any of these above questions interest you? if so send $5 to jokami63@aol.com lol :) IP: Logged |

Yeah I've downloaded TRwest and used it to modify my city wad. It is easy, once I'd made a note of what the things I wanted were called.Still want the Joby outfit from TR5 though, so going to keep at Wadmaerger untill I get it. Tryed Strpx - good fun but could'nt work out exactly what bits were Lara and what was'nt so ended up with half my outfit and half the original green, must try harder ;-) Made a nice set of blue eyes though! Lara in contacts :-)????? IP: Logged |
