1) Which is the best baddy for an ambush?(it has to run to a trigger, that closes a door behind him, but it must be possible for Lara to kill it). I have these in my level

  • SAS
  • Big Beetle
  • Dog

There are others too, but they have a special purpose, not closing a door.
The SAS doesn't work well, cause with the AL_Ambush he becomes friendly, and he refuses to step on the trigger square. Big beetle doesn't work at all, it just searches for Lara, and I haven't tested the dog yet, but since it's a snow leopard, it wouldn't make any sense for him to be inside a tomb. So I'm quite confused, I have to get this sequence to work, but what baddy is the best to use? Baddy1 & 2, are good for this as long as I know, but they wont fit in an arctic setting too well. It'd be the best if the Sas could close the door somehow, maybe a different AL_..., so what do you advice?

2) I need some objects for an arctic setting(static objects preferably) for both - inside and outside. Know where I can download some?

3) And what was the limit for the flame emmiters, after what number of emmiters did the flare bug appear?

1) Try placing one ambush on the same square as the SAS and another on the square with the heavy trigger for the door.

2) No clue, I'm still waiting for the Tinnos WAD to be released by someone

3) Around 16 I believe

Well if it isn't 16 flames, then it must be 32, or some relative number.

Flare bug?
Do you mean that flares don't spend light?

Now I know what's wrong in some of my levels. The light mode of the binoculars also doesn't work in those levels. And that bug has something to do with the number of FLAME_EMITTER's?

Strange!

I can send you a textured tinnos wad, all you have to do is replace the doors in the wad w/ the doors, puzzles etc. in your wad, they all work, even the animating pillars of light, and the little light ball things work too. give me an email adress and the wads yours

Wait, does the wad include enemies, such as the frost beast (Tomo already made the Wasp)

The maximum triggered flame emitters is 32 before the flare bug appears.

So keep that low

[2]About Artic objects, i dont know excactly wut static objects are ( prob pushables, bike, key holes etc ) If so...

You can use Tr2wad, ( which you might already know ) To extract furniture/plants/architexture, But it always depends on what you want, btw, what do you want as artic objects ?

Anyway Chronic sends you already the wad
