I seem to remember a post a short time ago where someone claimed they were able to modify an enemy so they didn't hurt Lara, or only hurt her a little. I would like to know exactly what they changed to do this. Anyone know?

I got the impression from the topic that this person had edited the animations or something like that. Which is why I'm so curious as to what they did.

is there a way that the troop would attack lara without shooting at him just like the sas. for example as soon as lara is in front of the sas, he starts shooting at her could it be possible if the troop would do the same thanksIP: Logged |

You could try putting one of the AI objects under him. They are described in the manual. But I'm not sure if they work with the trooper. Check the section about City of the Dead.

yea, michiel was the one that posted that, he used trviewer for edit the "state changes" table, he erased the "attack" state so the engine is unable to select that state. Before somone can ask...no you can't add new states changes to the enemies, how much states the engine espect for any movable is hardcoded looking the item ID. Tp. IP: Logged |

OK, that explains it. I thought he might have discovered some deep dark secret about the animations. Has anyone documented the different animations for the TR4 slots?

You can make enemies non-attack easy with trviewer. Just view all animtions and write down which are attack animations. Now view all animations again and look in the state changes. If the animation number from it is an attack animation, delete the state change.IP: Logged |
