Anyone know how to get the lasers from VCI or better yet Area 51 to work? I have both wads, but I don't know what to replace the lasers with in TR4 wad format. any ideas? please respond!------------------

I believe there's a TRIPWIRE slot in TRLE/TRLR. Try adding it there.------------------

Does the laser kill Lara (I know I could place DEATH squares behind the laser but the bad thing is: Lara is killed when she hits the floor)?IP: Logged |

Try placing a normal trigger for FLAME under the TRIPWIRE object and see what happens. If that doesn't work, try placing a SWITCH trigger for the TRIPWIRE and see what happens.------------------

tried the tripwire, didnt work, didnt move, and had no collision, lara went right thru it like it wasnt even there.
sorry if im going OT, but can someone please tell me how i can get trc wads textured? texture jack dosnt support trc, and strpix 3 loads the streets of rome texure set (tga) instead of the object textures, so I get somethings barely textured, and the rest are all transparent because the have no textures.
anyone know what to do? i really need help!!!------------------

dnf, check your mail  , and btw, can anyone give me an example of the actual tripwire object from trlr, what level and where is it, if anyone knows.------------------

I already got the lasers work and also hurt (kill) lara...but i didnt know in what slot to put....maybe ill try again some day...Cu VC IP: Logged |

thanks VC, thatd help, if you know how to do that, id really appreciate it. you mean the lasers that move like in area 51 or the standing still ones from VCI? Oh, for anyone who wants the blade wheel from lost city of tinnos to work, put it as cog i found that out during an experiment.------------------

if i understand what the lazer your talking about is the moving lazer in tr3 right in the bigining of the level area 51 then if you want the animation of that object just name it SLICER DICER it also kills lara.by the way i'm looking for another type of lazer the thin line on the ground if lara touches the lines a trigger is set that's the lazer i'm looking for they have 3 types of color lazers green red and yellow.
by the way anyone knows what to do to bring to life the sentry gun in tr3 i got thid wad but it acts as if the animation is not good any help please

but if you name it slicer dicer, will it go around in a circle like the thing in settomb, or will it act like it does in area 51?------------------
