***SPOILERS*** Hey dnf raider (I assume you're the creator of Saudi Arabia). Is is possible to mistakenly get into the double-grinder-and-waterfall area without having the pyramid that unlocks the upper door so you can back-flip outta there? Or can you give a hint where to find that pyramind within the double-grinder-and-waterfall area? Thanks!

Well, I am an admittedly poor raider. I play almost as much to see Lara dangling off of some precipice as to solve puzzles. I would have liked to see a slightly different texture like the climbwall out of the blue goo below the metro tracks. I could actually jump through the initial hang area there if I was too far forward. My mistake to assume. I actually like this tomb very much...that "Mother of all jump sequences over the flaming pit" was awe inspiring.Anyway, working on the floor number puzzle just past the green lasers and sliders.

i would be happy to help you by adding a picture of block puzzle in kuwait city to the forum but i don't know how by the way i'm the creator of Saudi Arabia took me 9 months to create this game it was a lot of pain to create this but it's worth to play it.My favorite level is Dark Dongeon always facing new ennemies after another with techno music of Phat Bass the music really goes with the level. in may 2002 i will post new pictures of Mutation Desease...Episode Two the game will contain 10 massive levels, and lots of new stuff check the forum in may for more details.IP: Logged |

***SPOILERS***Unless the bulletin board allows you to upload files (this one doesn't seem to) then you must use your own picture page (like Photopoint) and paste the link here (surrounded by ). How about I talk through it out loud and people steer me? This is in Kuwait City just after the first two green laser doors and the crushing blocks. There are two rooms...each 5x5 squares. In the one room there are numbered squares 1,2,3,4 (two sets). In the other room there are moveable blocks...same number as blocks as numbered squares. In the block room, there are four green squares. They happen to be in the same points as one of the 1's, one of the 2's 3, and 4. I assume the goal is to open the grate that is in the ceiling of the block room. My first thought was to jump on the numbered squares...in order. Can't seem to do it without hitting a non-number square. I then jumped on the numbered squares starting with the number that had a corresponding green square. Again, couldn't do it without hitting a non-number square. Then I moved all the blocks to the far side and moved only enough blocks to cover the green squares. No go. Then I put the blocks in the same position as the numbers--in order, starting with the green squared blocks. No dice. Next I am going to try putting the block in the same pattern as the numbers, but do them green 1,2,3,4 then gray 1,2,3,4 rather than green 1, gray 1, green 2, gray 2, etc. I also notice that these blocks have climbable walls but I don't see how to use that feature yet. Am I warm? IP: Logged |

***SPOILERS***Hi dnf, I like your mod...especially that long sequence of jumps at the end of the first level...kind of like the feeling of going a little too fast downhill on a bicycle and each turn successfully navigated only brought more speed. I am stumped on the Kuwait City blocks/numbers puzzle. I tried everything I can think of but no luck. I did notice a couple of other pecularities but think they may just be "red herrings." If I go back to the coffee table where I got the laser fuse, I get a second laser fuse (perhaps for that other set of lasers?). I also restarted the sliding blocks by stepping back in the square next to the fuse socket. Stopping the blocks again stops them away from the windows (opposite side). There is also a green square just to the left of the fuse socket underneath the computers. There is only one hallway door I cannot enter and I assume that's a secret. I worry that I am mistaken in my goal to open the ceiling grate in the block room and that is a way back instead (like the grates above the metro train which I tried to open unsuccessfully from below for a half an hour. Any hints?

Hi dnf, I looked at the picture and tried it but nothing worked. Here's what I tried so far (not in the order I tried them)... 1) Move blocks so they cover the same as numbered spaces 2) Move blocks so they cover the same as number spaces...moving them in ascending order 3) Move blocks so they cover the same as numbered spaces...moving them in ascending order starting with green squares first 4) Move blocks so they cover only the green squares (stacking rest against wall/green laser door) 5) #4 but in ascending order 6) Move blocks so they cover only the numbered squares not green. 7) Jump from green square to green square in the order of the numbers without touching non-green squares (seems impossible with low ceiling) 8) Jump from number to number in ascending order starting with green number 1 without touching non-number squares (seems impossible) 9) Jump from number to number in ascending order starting with non-green squares (again, seems impossible) 10) #7 but in descending order 11) #8 but in descending order 12) #9 but in descending order 13) Jump on numbered squares that have green counterparts in ascending order 14) Jump on numbered squares that do not have green counterparts in ascending order 15) #13 but in descending order 16) #14 but in descending order 17) Step on number 1 with green counterpart, move block onto green counterpart. Step on number 2 with green counterpart, move block onto green counterpart, etc. 18) #17 but green 1, gray 1, green 2, gray 2, etc. 19) Shift all the blocks (except 1) towards the green laser wall so it looks exactly like the picture linked, step on number 3, jump to number 2 with corresponding green square, then jump to number 2 without corresponding green square (block on corresponding gray square) 20) Move blocks so they only cover numbered squares with a gray counterpart, then try to jump in descending order. 21) #20 but ascending order 22) #20 but ascending order and jump on every number 23) #20 but step on a number, move a block into position, step on the next number, move a block into position, etc. Without a periodic cut scene to the gate to signal that I am making progress/on the right track or a "pre-puzzle" (a simpler version of the same puzzle earlier in the game), I really don't have a clue what to do. Is it a jumping sequence, a block-moving sequence, a jumping sequence after I move blocks? Do I jump then move blocks? I just don't know. The linked picture suggests solutions 19-23 above but they don't seem to work. I guess I'll just wait a month until more people have finished it and come back then.

by the way a lot of people have succeded the block puzzle with trouble but they did it. the block picture tells you that there is 4 numbers and 4 green circuit on the other room to activate the trapdoor you must put those 4 blocks on the green circuit.the picture gives you an example one of the block is sitting on number 2 you then have to move it to the other #2 after you have to do the same with the 3 other blocks .the numbers tells you where the blocks are and where to put it simple.IP: Logged |

Hi dnf, I guess my frustration with that is...once you start moving blocks around to try other ways to solve the puzzle...you're screwed and have to restart because all the blocks look alike.Well, I just started Dark Dongeon and the soundtrack is great. I've got the crossbow and killed all the baddies in the opening room but cannot find a way out. I assume the way out is through the long incline to a dead end (far right u-turn from the entrance)...please don't tell me it's a timing puzzle activated by the crowbar/lever!!! P.S. I never figured out how to get into lab 42V or what happened when I shot the transformer at the end of Kuwait City. A red herring, I guess (unless I come back...I still have the Jeep keys).

there is no delay after you've gotten the cross-bow notice the two pits in each seperate rooms there is a crawlspace in there once inside you must push 2 blocks in each opposite side , if you do there will be a big wooden door that will open at your right, where you've beatin' few skeletons. as for lab42v you will come back there after you've adventure few things, and by the way i hope your not cheating with the flycheat code ,some did but where's the chalenge if you cheat good luck my friend IP: Logged |

Hi dnf, Ha! I moved the blocks to look for goodies but moved them back. (The "tread lightly, leave no trace, and pull no levers until necessarily" policy.)No, I don't use any cheat codes--don't know how. If I recognize a puzzle I'm pretty good at clearing or getting past it even if it's a long series (like a long series of physical puzzles). It's just the ones I don't recognize that I have trouble with. I do have one gemstone for this area but it used to be a second laser fuse from Kuwait City. I assume an item is assigned a spot which designers reuse from level to level so the laser fuse will turn into a gemstone will turn into whatever else is used next level. I figure the bird guy to be unkillable with normal weapons so I have to figure out how to get him or escape. There are two sockets for gemstones, two stone statues, and what seems to be a "collapsable wall" doorway in the back that's similar to the entrance to this section. I'm betting that this doorway is the way out once I finish off the baddie or insert the gemstones. I'm thinking that the way past this area uses the statues (though I'm not sure how). Shooting the statues or letting the birdman shoot them does not seem to work. There don't seem to be any hidden blocks or doorways but the torches do catch you on fire. [Edit] Ah! One of my statements up there is incorrect.

Hi dnf, Yeah, I figured that out eventually. Those creatures were invincible in the regular games. It seem to guard the exit so I just bounced explosive crossbow bolts until I got him.Got to the aligator pit with the fire/locust spewing monster. I cant figure out a way out of here. I cannot go past the locust monster because whenever I try to climb down the half-wall beyond the monster, it pops me back onto the ledge. I see two openings on either side of the "big wheel door" but they are too high to reach. There is a skull door near where I fell down into the water but I have no idea on how to open it (and it looks like a secret anyway). Anyone have ideas on how to get past this area (drew_pizza: are you there yet?)? IP: Logged |

i'm happy that you people are trying hard to play my game.as for the game Saudi Arabia i took 9 months of my time to create that game and boy it was not obvious to create,i've done over 180 test for the whole game because i was never satisfied but as for Episode Two i'm reserving you a better game than the first one i don't know if you like action game or adventure game or even puzzle game but as for me i like everything of those three combination. So in may 2002 i will have new pics from Episode Two + a story, why does lara runs after a Mistycal Power thing there is a big reason why,in fact we will know more of the story in Mutation Desease...Episode Two. thanks for playing my level xxxIP: Logged |
