Geckokid@ Please do not restyle your level. I like what you did so far When do you release it?

Chronicles2@ I used an older version of tr2wad. When I save the wad everything is fine except for a few textures. I added them from other objects from the same wad. I had also some objects with no texture on it but most was fine. I have not used the new version yet of tr2wad.

My previous levels are Catacomb Towers and Black Palace. Highly Egyptian ones. Both are in the top 50 so there is no need to search for the link

Where did you get those stained glass windows textures? (I think that's what I see in the back of the first picture) But anyway, the level looks amazing! (Great atmosphere!)

Those screenshots look really nice. Something I'd like to play.
Keep up the good work.

Gecko@, ofcourse you may have the projects from crusade, I will send them this weekend . As for last crusade, I cant see it anymore. I am so tired of the texture set I have used. And it could have made better but it's too big to change it again and again. The gameplay is pretty solid now and I let it go .

Palo@, ofcourse you can NOT get my new project But you may have it all when it's done completly

Almasy@ It is just the glass texture from the coastal set

That looks a really good level, that must have taken a long time to do, and the map looks really cool, All your ideas for levels and traps are cool, I can never think of so many good ideas, lol but I can try

Piega, do you have any tips about texturing? I'm never satisfied with any result I get in my new level, no matter how "nice" it might look, it seems too..artificial.

Really? maybe we were talking about 2 different textures. I'm talking about those stained glass window textures in the first in-game screenshot that appear to the right of the picture, and are also placed underwater. I've never seen those stained glass textures in the coastal ruins set.

Here is a link to a screenshot that best shows the windows I am talking about: http://home.hetnet.nl/~piega3/PLAATJESMAP/Secret1.jpg

Little pulsar@ Sorry, I cant give you much tips on using textures. Just avoid strechted textures on walls. Lightning does a lot so look for an overall value before placing bulbs. Dont place floor textures on walls. It can be very hard, I know

Almasy@ A now I got it These stained glass textures are from the title screen from Chronicles. Just like almost all other textures. Very strange why Core did not use them for a level because I find them very beautiful. You can extract them with tr2wad with the save textures option

Thanks! I agree, they would have looked great in a Tomb Raider level...but I'm glad you used them--your level looks great!

Excellent, you really invoke the feeling of sanctity with your lighting.

We might introduce a new adjective:
Piegish, meaning .... evocatively and elaborately lit.
