I am starting a new level, I hope to make it a really good well done level. The level I think will be set in Pompeii, here is a pic of the palace entrance (It is a bit dark in some areas of the pic because Lara got in the way), can anyone think of any improvements like lighting or texture etc? http://michaelallan1.tripod.com/tombraiderbaddies/ [This message has been edited by The Cowboy (edited 04-20-2002).] IP: Logged |

The screen is very beautifull!!! Maybe you could adjust the lighting value of the pillars. Also light effect bulbs can make a lot of difference. They are not often used but they can create effects like shadow behind a pillar. I use this a lot placing shadow effects behind static objects because sunlight go's right through them.------------------ Dont you think you've seen enough?...BANG!!! IP: Logged |

Nice! When it's ready, if you need a host... ------------------ Does Lara live in our world... or do we live in hers? IP: Logged |

Cool, thanks yes I will need a host. The level has a new Lara, some new objects, the new baddies I made and new sounds, I might even add sounds for the characters in the game. IP: Logged |

or you could leave it the way it is now, I kinda like the screenshot. It's huge and old I suppose, so fog would make a unclearly atmosphere and so you won't be able to see the intire building.

The screen looks good, but it looks a bit 'boring'. But only a small bit. I'd advice to add some colored lights there. Nothing too bright, maybe a little orange, brown or ochre IP: Logged |
