Topic: Push Door Animation in Library WAD

I´ve noticed that Lara does not perform her correct animation when she is facing the blue doors in the first big room of the Lost Library level (from the Core "new" WADs). She just passes through the door like a ghost and then the door opens by itself.Where is the correct animation. I´m planning to use this WAD as a base for my new project. IP: Logged |

if i'm not mistaken there is a trigger in front of the double doors...delete this trigger besides the double doors does'nt need any trigger DNFIP: Logged |

that's exacly what i've ask my self,and one more thing i've played the library project from core design and there's another problem in the level it's the planet room once you've resolve the puzzle the game crashes.so how are we suppose to know the original triggers of this puzzle ??IP: Logged |

I think they did that on purpose. The animating thing is also gone above the door that recieves the blue electric lightning from the globes. Well, this secret is solved now now that we have tr2prj  ------------------ Dont you think you've seen enough?...BANG!!! IP: Logged |

I added that door into my wad, and it has the same problem, It did not open until I put a trigger in front, but I get no animation.IP: Logged |

what i did in my dark dongeon level i've put those double doors and with no triggers so when i hit the action button lara pushes the doors,and she does'nt get through unless she push the double doors, so everything is perfect and also the animation is perfect.IP: Logged |

I have used the Lara object from the Karnak wad. I use also these doors and it works fine as for many other animations.------------------ Dont you think you've seen enough?...BANG!!! IP: Logged |

The triggers in front of the doors were the problem in the original Library prj. I´ve removed them and it´s ok now. Lara performs the push animation with sounds and everything. Now why the hell are those triggers there in the original prj???I´ve opened the Library prj from the original TRLR CD with TR2prj and there are no triggers obviously! IP: Logged |
