Other people may give you the .tom file, English.dat and script.dat. Then you have to copy the .tom over to trle/graphics/wads, and build the level
(level converter aka tom2pc.exe) and put the script.dat and english.dat in the root folder (trle).

I think there are some other ways too..just don't know all the steps right now.

If the level comes as a .tr4 file
Then all you need to do is to put this same .tr4 file in the TRLE\DATA directory. Start TR4 and choose the level.

If the level comes as a .tom file
Older levels used the wads that were suplied by Core/Eidos with TRLE disk. Current levels usually have a set of wad files. In both cases, put all the wad files (.cd .sam .sfx .swd .tom .wad .was) in the TRLE\GRAPHICS\WADS\ directory and then start tom2pc.exe (TRLE root), click Add and then Build All. Wait the program finish and then close it. Start TR4 and choose the level.

If it comes as another kind of file, then refer to the readme file.

If it also comes with audio files, if their names are numbers (e.g. 000.wav 107.wav) put they on TRLE\AUDIO\ folder. If their names are letters (e.g. foot.wav magnum.wav l_vander.wav) put these in TRLE\SOUND\SAMPLES\
