I've put the big pushable switch from the catacombs wad in my test level, but the trigger doesn't go off when Lara pushes it. Also, her hand doesn't reach out, though the switch depresses. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

The trigger (settings: CD, 79, SWITCH) is under it.

Thanks,
-- Ricardo

You have to place a trigger for the switch under it and choose SWITCH for this trigger. Then place a normal CD trigger on the same square (P.S. OCB 3 for the switch).

Thanks, that works. Another question:

I edited script.txt, adding my level to the "Select Level" list. But it only worked when it's called "Playable Tutorial Level". When I change the name to "Testing" and add that word to english.txt, the text shown when the game runs is all wrong -- it shows "S" instead of "New Game" etc.. Should I put "Testing" somewhere else in english.txt or something?

Again, thanks

That's because you have to overwrite one of the existing names in the english.txt.
BTW welcome to the forum.

Nice to be here, TR_Nut.

Is there a way to make the switch so you can press it more than once? I tried using an antitrigger and tried setting the timer field in the switch trigger, but those didn't work. The same question was asked on this forum about the underwater switch, but I don't understand the answer.

You can't press a press switch more times.
