Search for the file CDAUDIO.WAD on the CD of TR2. I don't know whether that file exists in TR2 but try.
There is also another way: If I put my TR2 CD in an CD Player, I will be able to listen to all audio tracks. I've extracted these files with Nero Burning room (save Tracks).

The "Deck.tr2" or whatevr it is named, is propably set as read-only. Copy the tr2 file to your PC, open the propeties of the file and remove the read-only option. Then you SoundJack will see the audio tracks

I thought tr2 has audio tracks on the cd. Use a normal cd rip program to get them off.

As I said, you can extract the audios directly from the CD with a normal cd rip program.

The CDAUDIO.WAD is only on the TR3 CD, no wonder you couldn't find it. You get sound tracks from TR1 and TR2, loading the level(.tr2 file) directly.

I have just bought the tr2 and tr2 gold for my pc (not piratic of course) they are nice expensive and have a wonderful package but I has the same problem with the audio files.
If I want to play them I can hear the sounds but the background audio isn't there my pc runs perfectly every tombraider from 1 to 5
except this two...
(I have the pc version and psx version for each one)
and I'm not able ,of course, to extract them for to use with the trle
which is the problem? it remins in mistery
that's why I always play the psx one first!

@ tomb raider fan: Do you have a CD burner? I have got one and to burn CD's you have to use a burning program. I use Nero. You can save tracks from audio CD's and from TR2 and TR1 with a command (The TR1 & 2 audios are saved on the CD like an audio CD). "Save tracks" or something similar.

I use Nero for burning CD's. It is not a free program, but it is cheap for what it does.
For ripping, I use CDEx. It is basic but easy to use, and can also convert between WAV and MP3 (both ways). Best of all, it is free.

Oh yeah, can't you rip with the latest version of Media Player, Real Jukebox, and WinAmp?
