I've just found the sound manager in Wadmerger (!!) but when I try to add sounds, on building the wad, under "adding samples" it says File not found (the sound I added) and lists all the sounds I tried to add. Then the sounds don't work. The sounds I'm adding are the skeleton ones.

Help!

what are the filenames that are missing? I extracted the list from sounds.txt and putted it in the tr4objects.dat, maybe something went wrong with the extracting. Or there is another problem (I'm not sure, but maybe I totaly forgot to add .wav at the end of the file, that's possible). Check if there is .wav at the end of the files (listed in the sam file)

Hi TRWad - all the files I extracted were the ones for the skeleton, i.e. Skel sword clang, skel stik ground, skel land heavy, skel footsteps, skel attack. I have looked in the sam file and only the ones I added don't have the .wav at the end. (see below)

dog_at1.wav
dog_at2.wav
dog_d1.wav
dog_d2.wav
thun_rum.wav
sk_foot1
sk_foot2
sk_foot3
sk_atk1
sk_atk2
swoosh3.wav
sw_clang
sk_swd1
sk_swd2.wav
sk_land
lib_cog.wav
wh_atk1.wav
wh_sql3.wav
wh_sql2.wav

I also had the same thing with another wad, with that one I added the dog fall heavy (or something like that). The game then crashes when I try to load it. Also if I then run the sound bat file that crashes too and I have to restart my PC. (Sorry I'm not moaning - I'd just like to get it to work properly because it's much easier than going through the sound text file and adding it there).

Just add .wav after the name. I'm going to fix wadmerger right now.
