I am doing a big level, and I have reached the maximum number of objects, when I place a light or any object from the wad, it will not let me, It says "Maximum number of objects reached" then another message comes up saying "Unknown object type detected". Is there any way to get more objects without deleting them?

Splitting your level in two is probably the only way mate.

This limit is hard-coded. It sounds like the 2000 object limit. This includes all doors, wad objects, triggers, lights, cameras, sinks, sounds, and fog bulbs. It also includes the trigger triggerer and clockwork beetle (since these are wad objects).
Oh, and for every door you create between rooms, you really get 2 doors - facing opposite directions!
