In the LE, I'm using Tomo's Larson (and later psxsave's Pierre) as a kind of guide who runs through the level helping Lara by flipping switches and stepping on pads she's too light to work. If you shoot Larson (SAS) and kill him, you get a key which unlocks a much more difficult part of the level which eventually gets you to the same end room, but takes longer, and is less direct. If you keep Larson alive, I was going to have him take you right through the (volcanic) temple to the artefact room, where he'll turn on you and attack you.The problem is, that when he reaches the first A.I FOLLOW, he stops, turns and tries to kill poor Lara! (nasty bastard!) How can I stop this? ------------------ I'm a hazard to myself Don't let me get me I'm my own worst enemy Bad when you annoy yourself (so iritating) Don't wanna be my friend no more Wannabe somebody else IP: Logged |

flipeffect 30 makes the enemy (I'm not sure, maybe it works only for the guide object and Von Croy object), follow Lara I think. Well, something like that. And if this doesn't work, you can try replacing Larson with troops instead of SAS, I think they're the same enemies, only the troops are allready friendly to Lara. But then again, maybe you'll have the same problems, and the animations wont work. IP: Logged |

His animations are perfect. I'll put him as a troop then. Is there anyway to swap from an troop to an SAS? Is there a flipeffect or should I use a flipmap?IP: Logged |

HiYou could have Larson in Guide/Troop slot for most of the level. Then use flip map effect with SAS at point in which you want him to attack. You will need to setup a WAD in which you have two Larson in different slots. Thanks psxsaves

HiOr get the guide to trigger a trap so need for SAS at all. Which would be better as like in true TR style the bad guy can run away and not die. Leaving Lara to face what evers left in the room. Thanks psxsaves IP: Logged |

That's a good idea... perhaps I'll use him in both levels alongside Pierre in the second.------------------ I'm a hazard to myself Don't let me get me I'm my own worst enemy Bad when you annoy yourself (so iritating) Don't wanna be my friend no more Wannabe somebody else IP: Logged |

Flipeffect 30 only works for GUIDE, VONCROY and ENEMY_JEEP.To make the SAS non-attack, use trviewer and delete all state changes that point to attack animations (search this forum for more information). IP: Logged |

Hmm, you could just try shooting at the Troops to make him hostile, if that's what you mean. Just like the monks in Barkhang monastery in TR2, they only attack Lara, if she attacks them first.IP: Logged |
