I’ trying to set up a key sequence using 4 horseman’s gems to open a door - the idea being the player needs to place ALL 4 gems for the door to open. But it’s not working right. So far I always get the door to open after the placement of 1 gem. Can anyone help on this? IP: Logged |

You need 4 different triggers for the same door. On the first trigger, bring up the trigger info and look at the series of numbers underneath the one shot button. Select button 1 for your first trigger, 2 for your second and so on until you get to the last trigger when you select the remaining 2 numbers (4 and 5). This means that you need to set off all 4 triggers for the door to open or close. Hope this helps.------------------

I still can't get it to work.I followed your advice and I can get it to work for basic floor triggers (pass over all 4 to open door) but when i try to set up the whole thing using horseman gem keys I get: "error: can not overlap special triggers." I've tried setting up in a different order but it's either: -error message -door won't open -door opens after 1 gem. If it's not too much trouble could you do a step-by-step. This possum's brain is hurting. cheers. IP: Logged |

On each square where one of the Keyholes is place a normal trigger for the door you want to open. Next click on one of the keyhole to highlight it (the object will be red), next click on the square that is on and click on the pink trigger button. Click on the trigger field to bring up the menu and click on the trigger type field ans select Key from the menu, click ok. next, look at the 5 button below, they should all be black at this point...... click on 2,3,4&5 so that only "1" is black..... click ok and that trigger group is set..... do the same for the other 3 keyholes except set the buttons on each so that one only has "2" in black, one only has "3", and the final one "4&5" in black...... The door will now only open when ALL 4 keys are placed. ------------------ I WAS PRESSING THE DARN WALK BUTTON !! CELTIC FOLLY 1-5 Visions Of Egypt IP: Logged |
