I have got tomb raider 2 installed on my p.c and i have got the CD as well. I have just downloaded a cusatom TR2 level but i don't no how to install it! What i presume is i copy and paste the TR2 file that came with the download into the data folder on the TR2 CD. I try to copy and paste the file but it gives me an error message and i can't. Do i need to download a special kind on program to play the level? Or iam i just doing it wrong?

Maybe you're getting the error because you're trying to run the game from the cd? If so, hope the following helps! Firstly, you need the Tomb Raider 2, no-cd crack, which means you can play from your hard drive and not the cd rom. You can download it here

you also need to copy and paste the data folder, fmv folder and audio folder (or main.sfx, or cdaudio.wad) in the same directory as tr2.exe. Follow the instructions for installing the no-cd crack.

Then you can dowload tr2 levels that are created with the unofficial level editor, I'd extract these files to a temp folder, make a original back up copy of the level you're going to overwrite, then copy and paste the tr2 level into your data folder.

I keep saying this over and over:

There is an easier way, just download the TR2 Gold demos, and put the .tr2 level file in the /data directory and rename it to the file of the demo level. When the game loads, it will load your level instead of the demos, because of the name change. This method works for custom levels for TR2 and TR3. Get the gold demos at www.tombraiderchronicles.com , or if you have TR4 it should be on the demo cd included.
