I have a bizzare problem [again!]
I seen to have lost the sounds for the flare and menu/inventory navigation but only in CATACOMB.wad - i have added some items to the wad but i have added lots more to my otherwads and there is no trouble there, i have tried overwriting the .CD/.SFX/.SWD files from my back up disc and running the pcsounds thing in the sounds folder but nothing seems to work.....what am i doing wrong??

probably you went over the maximum quantity of samples allowed. This is one (maybe the only...) limit which does NOT make the TR4 to crash on the desktop if you go over it.

If you go over, some samples won't be heard, no crashes
