Potentially stupid question, what can I say I'm inexperienced. I'm having a great deal of trouble postioning my 'flame_emiter2' so that it looks like the torch, rather than the floor is creating the flame. I've tried moving it using ctrl+arrow keys but they only move the flame emiter north-south-east-west, following the level of the floor. How do I move the object up and down?

Second question: how do you make a doorway that Lara can't walk through (i.e. one she can only look through?

Many thanks in advance, loza

1). Just click on the floor up and down button on the left panel. and the object will go up or down.

2). Use toggle opacity 2. look in the manual

It's not toggle opacity 2, it's toggle opacity button...... Apply it from both side and then apply the texture and there you have it......

Thanks people.

With the see-thru no walk-thru doors thing though my prople is not textureing the doorway, I've applied a texture that is partly see-thru (the grid type thing out of the artic tex file) to boths sides of the doorway so it appears that Lara can't walk thru it. Only problem is: she can.

my other problem appears to be typing and spelling: i'll try harder. That should be,

"see-thru not walk-thru" as opposed to "see-thru no walk-thru", and "my problem" not "my prople" and "arctic" not "artic"...the list goes on, apologies...

The secret is to use toggle opacity instead of toggle opacity 2. But I think the LE sometimes gets confused, and if you ever turned on toggle opacity 2, it still thinks it is turned on.
If you can't get it to block Lara, try deleting the door then making it again. Then go into both rooms and set toggle opacity on the door from both sides.
