I'm always looking for uncopywrited music in my levels because i don't want to run into any trouble. Because levels do not make profit can i use copywrited music or what can i do?

Hello Jaxx, it would not be a good idea to sanction the use of copyright material, and so that particular section of your question cannot be answered to your advantage, however there are a number of musicians that may be prepared to compose a piece for you.
With this is mind you could ask dhama or staticon who arranged the music and sound effects on Castle Doomsday.
You might also try an internet search of free to use un copyright material.

Let's face it. Copyright material is good I have copyright material music in my new game. I have seen more levels with copyright music. Not that it is an excuse to do it to. I also have the feeling that it is not right but it fit's my game so good. So I will create 2 versions with other music from tombraider 3 if I ever get in trouble with it. I dont want to waste my time on uncopyright music that is no good (and where do I find it?). If I could compose my own music I did. Tuff question because if you use copyrighted material who will be on your tail for it? We dont earn mony with it and it wont be sold. Oh boy if Core would get to us with all the tools that where not supposed to develop for the editor...

If you use it for yourself then there is no problem. It is the issue that it is on the net for download.

It would be against the TOU if the use of copyright material was sanctioned by anyone at this forum.
