In TR2, If you put Lara in front of the sink and walk towards it, she wont walk up.

But in my level (a remake of Lara's Tr2 mansion), Lara will walk trough the sink front wall like it is 1 click high.

I make 3 rooms : the sink room, the 2 click high ledge, connect them to make the sink and then I combine the ledge with another room (in front : the floor)

Thanks for any help that I can get.

To make you more understand in what I'm typing about here is the pics........

This is the original game. Notice that Lara stay inside like it is a real kitchen sink..

This is my level. Althought the ledge is 2 click high, Lara steps onto it like it is 1 click high or have a door connected. But I didn't connect any door to the kitchen sink except for the top.....

I had that trouble as well, in the end I just gave up. have you tried using TR2prj to extract the rooms? that might show how to do it

very easy:
there are 3 rooms:
1 for the kitchen, 1 for the part above the sink and 1 for the sink. The sink itself is connected with a door in the ceiling to the room above and that room has a side door to the kitchen itself.

The whole 'rooms' thing is silly. Someone should write a level editor that is more like a cad program that saves right to .tom format.

To craziej2k:
Yes, I have use TR2 prj to extract te assault course level. I even use that extracted prj, retextured it and the problem still come.

To TRWad:
That is exactly how I do it.....

To Raider Of Tombs' Clone:
Yeah, it is silly. But this is the only legal program I have to build my ever favourite Tomb Raider level.....

But in my earlier stage of development, the sink was ok. Then it started to have errors with it and then I build another from scratch and the problem started....

your second screenshot shows the model from
the TR3 "house.tr2" level. in this level, the
sink, kitchen cabinets & stove are *static
meshes*; they are ..."not part of the room
geometry"...

you need to select which (TR2 or TR3) Lara's
estate you are going to be working with,
& stick with it.

ok i dont want to feel really obsessed, but i can tell by the quality of the textures and laras outfit, and of couse by memory that thats tr2. and if you get a sink object, you can got to edit object, and make lara be able to stand on it
