to make something like a vidoe game at home. like......just designing characters and scenery and stuff. wat software would i need, i havent got a baldy about ne of this stuff.

Since this is a Tombraider Level Editor forum, I can only suggest the Level Editor that comes with Tombraider Chronicles.

There is quite a resource here now so it would not matter how 'stuck' you get using it; we can help you.
