ok i downloaded the program "tombripper" so that i could extract 2 or 3 sounds i wanted from tr3, but it wont load up first of all i got message like " the file COMCTL.OCX is missing or invalid" so i did a search and downloaded the file, but now i get different message when i try to load it: "unexpected error" that is all i get and it's doing my head in cos i c'ant get sound jack to work either and i only need a few sound waves ("the puzzle element" and another long one from london) can anyone please? if anyone could get these sounds waves for me i would really appreciate it, download tombripper from here: http://home.hetnet.nl/~piega2/CRUSADE/Tomb%20Ripper.zip

It would appear you are missing a runtime file. Make sure you have all runtime files. Get them from here and install all of them: http://www.completelyfreesoftware.com/vb_runtime_files.html

all installed but it made no difference, still get the message "unexpected error" thanx anyway data i appreciate it.

Hmmm, I had that problem on my old computer, never got it to work, maybe I could send the wavs to you? I think I know the one from london you mean... when she starts Lud's gate? I can get that, tell me if it's another one. I can e-mail them to you...

I don't know about TmbRipper, but sound jack does the job pretty well for me. I copy the CDWAD (or RDWAD incase you're using TLA) to my HD, open the propeties and un-check the Read-only. Then I can load it in Sound jack, choose any sound I need and save it.

Daz- i now have found the london wave from someone elses level files (yes it was from lud's gate) but i still ned the one from tr3"the puzzle element" from tr3 home level if u can help

um, okay sorry to have to say this, but it will have to wait until the morning, I've got to disconnect and won't have time to send a 5MB file. It's ready to go though, and should be there at the crack of dawn, don't worry!

Well this thing ya all is asking about happen to me with all TRwad Program I realy wish I know why. When I open the Program it says "Unxpected Error" (There is an spelling mistake I think)
