I must admit that I'm quite unfamiliar with the trle, I know little more than what I read in the us manual.Does anybody know how exactly the script.txt, the english.txt and, most of all, the sounds.txt files work?
I know how to convert them and stuff, but I don't know how to edit them.
Especially the puzzle item section of the script.txt: what do the six §xxxx-numbers do?
Why is there sometimes two "LoadCamera"-rows for one level?
The sounds.txt: what are the seven columns for? (1st for the event; 2nd for the sound files; 3rd for the volume; 4th - 7th??; 8th CH?; 9th for the pitch; 10th sound radius?; 11th which project uses this sound)
And finally: what exactly do the wad-files contain? Objects, textures and animations? Do they also contain sounds or some kind of sound information?
I'm asking all this because I have serious problems with the sounds of my objects in projects where I use custom created wads.
