I know everyone here is so experienced about this stuff, I thought I might as well give my question a shot. I just bought the game. When I first start the game, I am only given the choice to play different levels. Is this normal? How do I actually start to edit the levels?IP: Logged |

What do you mean you have a choice to play different levels?Anyways, there are 2 CDs - 1st is the Chronicles game itself (which doesn't need the second CD at all) and the 2nd is the Level Editor (which doesn't require the 1st CD at all). So, to build/edit your own levels you must install the Level Editor from the second CD and launch "room edit" from the Start Menu. !!!Don't forget to read the manual first By the way, Welcome to the Forums! and Good Luck IP: Logged |

hi RaiderTeen713, welcome the selection of levels you see are examples that can be used for "backwards editing" as it is called, but you not need to worry about that just now as TheMast said, read the manual first you can open it from the startmenu if you haven't got Acrobat (the program required to view the manual) installed yet, browse to the Level Editor cd and run the Acrobat setup then get ready for some massivly reading and getting familiar with the editor good luck ------------------ Peace is but a shadow of death, desperate to forget it's painful past... The levels you get with Editor are actually from Tombraider: The Last Revelation, apart from the tutorial level, which is different. P.S. If you're new to room editor, you should know that when you try to open the editing program, you're computer must be in High Colour 16 bit. Otherwise, it will give you and error message and won't load.IP: Logged |

Did you open 'winroomedit'? If you open tomb4.exe or tom2pc.exe you'll be in a totally different universe! IP: Logged |
