One program should do it

But there are a couple of things you could try.
You could turn off hardware acceleration on your desktop.
Switch to 32-bit video and a higher resolution.
Try running an intensive program like Media Player. If you run dxsetup and turn off audio hardware acceleration, that should do it.
Wait, that might bring you to a complete stop

If you have a PC that is less than 2 years old, you could change the processor clock speed slower within the BIOS using the 'Soft setup' this may be called something similar.

WARNING: I would not recommend this however to those who are not familiar with the operation of the BIOS, and be aware that accidentally overclocking your processor may result in death of the processor.

Or take stimulant drugs, like caffiene. They speed you up, and make everything else seem to slow down. If you get enough, the program may seem to run more slowly!
