I only have the India levels of TR3. But I discovered a level called assault I must have obtained somehow. I can't play it, so I need someone to check something for me.
The level is Laura's mansion. If you go up to the roof, it appears to be textured with boards, and I can see between them into the house.
Is it this way in the game?

assault is from tr2. You can't see in the house from the roofs cause in the game you can only see something when there are doors. But viewers like trueview don't care about doors.

I'm using the LE. I thought it was because of transparent textures. At least I hoped so.

hmmmmm
if you clicked the door button when you were working on the roof you might have a big problem. I once had that i clicked this button when i wanted to click another one and wouldn't find the door anymore (for some reason these doors are not a black hole in le)

Slight miscommunication.
This is the actual TR3 house level, converted with TR2Prj. When I go up to the room where the roof is and turn on face edit, I can see between the boards in the texture on the roof, like it has transparency in it.
I need to know if this is the way it is supposed to be, or if I have a bug in the textures.

I've been a lot of times at the roof and there is a place with strange textures. But most of the roof has normal textures that are not transperant. Only in the middle, by the little stairs that core builded are some strange textures (black with red and a bit water)

Below is a picture taken inside the attic of TR3 house. Is that what you need ?

No, no, no, he wants a pic from the outside. And yes, the entire roof is textures with the same roof tile, except for one by some steps, which looks like it is part of an animation range.
