to anyone at Eidos or Core,i just wanted to ask if you would please release your cutscene editor for the trle series.. because i would really really like to have this, and id even be willing to pay the same amount as your trle... [please just think about it.] this tool would greatly increase the amount of entertainment we get with the trle. thank you sincerely, David 070 IP: Logged |

We've tried this one before with n oluck. The same amount that you paid for the TRLE? Surely it was free with TRC?------------------

I think it would be a good idea for Eidos to release an expansion pack with new objects, new manual and cutscenes.IP: Logged |

when did we try this before? I would have helped out. I agree, we can handle creating object wads and using the,. I think we should also be able to create and use cutscene cams and objects, and I have ideas for a really cool fmv... ------------------ Creator of awesome levels on the TRLE: jokami63@yahoo.com ;) IP: Logged |

A long time ago we asked the bosses to help us out but they stated very clearly that the editor was not something that they would spend more time and money on. It was also stated that apart from this forum there would be no support from them as far as level editing went. You forget that this was an addition to the chronicals and not something that they are profiting directly from. Therefor, it would probably not be profitable to release a cut scene editor as there is most likely not enough of a market for it.IP: Logged |

Emma is correct, neither Core nor Eidos support the level editor so do not expect any new additions. ------------------ Learn to respond, not react IP: Logged |

Maybe someone can create a cutscene program for the tomb raider level editor that connects with GMAX.------------------ IP: Logged |

oh well, it was worth a try! i understand that they would not profit from it, but if I worked there, I would at least think of helping out people who MIGHT one day come to work at Eidos or Core. still, its an extra project with no profit, so maybe theyre just caught up with AOD.------------------ Creator of awesome levels on the TRLE: jokami63@yahoo.com ;) IP: Logged |

hi everyone, thanks for all the input. i really didnt expect an answer from core or eidos, [well maybe a little] i just thought maybe if we brought this subject up somehow they would respond positively.. i mean, does anyone else think that there still using whatever program they used to make the cutscenes?? i doubt it.. and if there not using whatever program that is, why dont they just go ahead and give it to us ???? instead of letting it collect dust. maybe its legal to create a program that can do this, i hope. and im also hoping some programmers out there are reading this and getting my pt.
