I really want to be able to edit these levels and I cant, I can only play them. Can someone please tell me how I can actually edit the levels? It would be greatly appreciated.

Edit? You can build/make them. But it's really recomended to make the tutorial level first and read the manual, it tells you the basics, how to make rooms, doors, water, and stuff like that. If you don't understand something from the manual you may ask here, it all may seem a little complicated at the start, but it's worth it.

its always nice to meet and help out new members! you might want to visit www.editor23.co.uk this is an awesome site for trle, get all the tools, and check out the links, there are a lot of awesome trle sites out there! check out www.mprager.de to see all other custom levels released.
those are just my favorite sites, there are a ton more awesome ones out there, and they all help you learn the trle, read the manual, it will soon be your best friend! make a tutorial level.

This sounds like a misunderstanding.
You can't edit the levels you download. They can only be played.
The level editor lets you make your own levels you can share with other people.
