i got into level 5 of the lost artifact and i need help on to where to go next. all i know is that the level started out by swimming in a cave and once i get out of the water, there are 3 or 4 steps and then there are rocks on the left side. on the top of the 3 steps, there is a ladder. at the top of the ladder, there is a gate blocking me from going up any further. this is where i am stuck. thankyou for your time.

I believe you are stuck forum-wise too. Try the TR series forum.

oops.. well holly-ingrid, welcome to the forums! if you have a question on the tr series in general, use the tr series forum, thats what its all about, the level editor forums are about creating your own tr game.

I know this is not the right forum, but if you still don't have the answer - check the greenly lit area under water, to the left of the stairs. There's an artifact you need to pick up in order to open the gate; if you can't see it, light a flare. If you get stuck again, I suggest you visit Stella's site (http://tombraiders.net/stella/) - she's got the best TR walkthroughs.
