How long does it usually take to learn HOW TO use the Editor & actually be able to make what you want.
I guess 1st, just to be able to make a level?

2. How much more time does it take to learn how to use all the extra tools, trwest, etc., etc.

3. Are MOST of what might want, textures, music, etc. aready available by others for download that have already used all those tools to get the stuff...one might want?

Making it much easier/hence the data already done & available?

4. What's the hardest things to have to learn in making levels?

5. Besides CUSTOM TEXTURES, etc...are those the hardest to do? How/what tools does that take?

Thanks

1)Learning the basics for the level editor takes about 2 or more days (at least for me) - that is, you complete the tutoarial & read the manual, what is really recomended. If there's something you don't understand from the manual you can ask here.

2) learning how to use the tools is not so hard, and it doesn't take much time. the tools usually have readme's or something familiar that tells you have to do specific things.

3)I don't know if people host anything else than textures from other games, but if you have all, or most of the games its easy to get that stuff with the tools we have.

4) I really don't know. I think the level making is not so complicated itself. If you want to make custom textures, and objects that might be harder, but the result is more satisfying.

5)Most tools are listed and avaible for donwload at the TRLE FAQ page. But this is not really my field (even if I have tried this). Someone else could propably help you more here.

1: the time you need to collect money for 2 new monitors, 3 new keyboard (you will brake a few when trle will crash for the 4th time when your building a level)

It depends on the person as it took me three months to make my level and it's not a very good one
May be I should copy the tutorial as the manual says
