I've tried every way I know to get those wads - wadmereger, TR2Wad, you name it. Older versions of TR2Wad extract the wads, but the objects are all transparent. the newer versions even chrash when I load the andy.trc's. Wadmerger is a bit too much trouble for me, and when I try to save the newly created wad I get a runtime error, even if I have installed all the required runtimes (if all were included in the download from TRWads' site). Now I can either wait for the new wadmerger and hope that I wont get those errors anymore, find another tool that extracts the wads (if you know any, let me know), and the most problematic, but I think the best solution, that someone could send me those wads. I know that everyone doesn't have these problems and can extract those wads without a problem, so if someone could be so kind and send me those wads (yes all 3) I'd be very gratefull. Of course any help is appreciated. Thanks eTux IP: Logged |

Did you read the docs? "If you still can't solve your problem, go to the folder where you installed WADMerger. There will be a file called WADMerger.log in it. Send it to trwad@hotmail.com. Also include a small description of what you were doing." I couldn't test it since I was not be able to open a tr5 level (I just renemed the code for reading moveables and this part is not finished yet) [This message has been edited by TRWad (edited 06-16-2002).] IP: Logged |

Phew, the Wadmerger makes the wads Ok, I just did it the hard way (as usual), but the objects still don't have a single correct texture on them IP: Logged |

please read my last post "I am back, after so long... etc." It explains how to bypass the messed up textures, but you will need a few programs. ------------------ Creator of awesome levels on the TRLE: jokami63@yahoo.com ;) IP: Logged | |
