Basically, every key has its own entry in the script and can be used only on one specific keyhole, that is, however many specimens of the key you collect, it will always be a single key, to be used once. If you want to use more keys on different keyholes, you'll have use different keys for each, and each with its own script entry.However, if you want to use the same key on various keyholes, open TRWest and declare the key KEY_ITEM12 (and, accordingly, the keyhole KEY_HOLE12). The slot #12 effects that the key won't disappear from the inventory; you can use it repeatedly. [This message has been edited by Mulf (edited 06-16-2002).] IP: Logged |
