I'll try to explain. I'm from Holland, so dont mention my english;
I wanted to create a huge dive. First I created a huge room by pooling the bottom of that room to -100. Than I stacked a room under it, from -100 to -120. I made this room a water room. ( So a 'door' was created). Then I created a little room where to dive from. I attached it (with a door) on the upperside of a wall of the tall/huge room . (At the highest point of that wall. Not on the roof)
When I first tested it, it worked perfect. Later on i tried to make a nice wall under the entrence of the huge room.(You know, those stretched textures. I wanted to get rid of them) This started the problem: When i want to make a dive now, it seems lara bumps her head in mid air, while there's nothing there. (also in the editor) After that I removed the changes I applied under the entrance, but it didn't help.
Does somebody know what causes this problem. I can also mail the proj. if somebody wants to take a closer look. I would be a very happy man if someone could help me fix this problem.

I sounds as if you have a low ceiling, however I would be happy to review your project file with a level three diagnostic.

I was in a dive the other week. The menu was soggy and the place was falling apart. I left after the drinks - eugh, gross place.

Hmm.... I have studied the project and feel that you may have the (object) doors the wrong way around. Usually on one side of an object door, there is an area or invisible block that contains the area that results in the animation (door opening). I suggest that you 'right click' on the objects until they are facing the other way.

I did notice that your rooms were exceptionally large and this will cause certain problems like stretched textures, however if you need such a deep room then I suggest connecting multiple rooms above or below. I also believe there are too many bulbs and flame emitters, this will also cause problems later on.

I think I figured out what the problem was. Anyway,not the doors and in which direction they are placed. I deleted them from the level, and still Lara bumped her head.
The problem goes with the bottom of the pool. I lowered the central squares of it. After that, Lara started bumping in mid- air. When I raised them up again today, and played the level again, all worked as it should.
You should try the next thing. (don't raise the floor of the pool yet) Select a square from the bottem of the pool with face edit off. Than raise it (floor) one click. See what happens. Whats that? You can make it dissapear with the e and d button. (in combination with shift) This buttons are used for segmenting textures on (raised) floors/ lowered ceilings or to apply extra segments on walls. (pillars ed) Am I correct?
What I was thinking:
These things (which appear when pushing floor up) are a bit of a bug, caused by going lower (with your room) than -120. Can this be it?
Is there a maximum for lowering or raising your room? (look what happens if your room passes -128)

By the way: I Like this page a lot. There are more people like me who think this editor is VERY addicting
