I wrote another post like this, but I made a mistake on the topic. I need someone to make wad textures for me since Strpix does not work for me. I cannot fix this problem. I do not plan on making homemade wad textures in the future anyways, I will just download wads online for now on. Anyways I need someone to edit the wads in for my level. I will send you the wad by e-mail so you can edit it in strpix. I will also include 2 texture sets with the wad.(the level textures and a Zombie Texture). You will also get credit. For those of you that are interested, then e-mail me.

open strpix, and UNCHECK the "show box" from the "collision" part of the interface. Then load a working wad. Import and export meshes or textures with that box unchecked. Save, check if the wad works fine into the editor and convertor. If yes, load it again in strpix and finally fix collision re-checking that "show box", and selecting the object from the static objects menu. Save with different name (example: mywad-3-collision.WAD). It works fine IP: Logged |

BTW there are few problems sometimes with DXF where you applied the shining effect. If you have a cad program, edit the name of the layers like in this example: previous: textur_XXXX_0_66 change it into: textur_XXXX_0_0 if this layer already exist, change it into textur_YYYY_0_0 the problem is that the info contained into the last number (66 in this example) sometimes can give you a problem... then don't use shining effect into semi-transparent textures so, import the meshes into your wad and do the fixing it needs, following those tips IP: Logged |
