...but how do I prevent that?I have a tall room with a TWOBLOCK PLATFORM. On the ceiling there are some spikes that are antitriggered when Lara pulls three switches. The switches are located on three floor squares, one higher than the other. The TWOBLOCK_PLATFORM's hotspot (the corner that is on the square you placed the object on, if you know what I mean) is located on the lowest square (where it's triggered). When Lara steps onto it, it works fine, but when she steps onto one of the higher squares, the platform raises through her! How do I prevent this? Please help. ------------------ Discussion Domain...down...forever... Don't worry! There will soon be a TRLE site that is... IP: Logged |

two things: -is it dummy triggered to the square below it? - does it start moving up before lara stands on it? if lara is below it when it starts, she will probably go through it, and remeber to dummy trigger it. also, read the manuals section on two block platform. ------------------ well you might like to mind, the bell! jokami36@aim (always online) IP: Logged |

No, it starts when Lara steps on it.Well, I have solved it by using shootable switches. But the problem is still there - Lara can only stand on one of the four corners of the object. If she steps on one of the others, she will fall through. I have another platform which works perfect (without dummy trigger, so I believe the dummy trigger is dummy ), and it's speed (which I have set in the OCB (clicks x 16 + speed)) is lower than the problematic platform. I believe it has to do with the speed. I'll try changing it. IP: Logged |

No, I have found it, it's cause it's triggered only on one square! I have to place dummy triggers on squares under the platform where it's not triggered! How stupid I am... Thanks for you support. ------------------ Discussion Domain...down...forever... Don't worry! There will soon be a TRLE site that is...
